Hi guys, I’ve been doing a lot of cafe exploring in the past year and I wanted to share my three recent favourite Toronto cafes. Some of these places I’ve been inspired to try though Instagram, while others I just pass and think would this place make a great photo and also a great cup of coffee? I am sure I’m not the only blogger out there who has similar ways of thinking. What qualifies a place to be “instagrammy” ( a cringy word but says so much)? Well there are lots of different factors, but it all comes down to your personal aesthetic. Here are three of my recent faves.

1. Dineen Coffee Co.

(140 Yonge Street) Yonge and Temperance Street

 

First on the list ( and my most recent venture) is Dineen Coffee Co. This place screamed Instagram worthy, from the marble table tops, pink wicker seating, latte art, outdoor patio and general polished atmosphere.  Everything was delectable, from the sandwiches to their “blissful beet salad,” a salad that was equally pretty on the eyes as it was in my stomach.

2. Versus Coffee

(70 Adelaide St E) Church & Adelaide

 

I was inspired to track this place down after seeing a post on Instagram featuring beautiful pink lattes. I was set on ordering a pink latte for myself (of course, I love pink) but I learned that they actually offer lattes in multiple colours. The place is pretty small with a minimalistic approach to the decor, except for some cool artwork in the back room. I’ve only ordered their Banana Nutella sandwiches both times I’ve gone (which were fantastic) but the rest of their menu also looks amazing.

3. Quantum Coffee

(460 King Street W) King & Spadina

Quantum Coffee is a very open concept space, with a futuristic vibe thanks to the light installation on the back wall (as shown above). This place is great as it provides customers with a work friendly atmosphere, while also brewing a strong cup of coffee.
