If there’s one thing I’m really not having right now, it would be this weather in April. The groundhog was definitely lying when he said an early end to winter was in store. Below I break down this outfit I wore during Toronto Fashion Week, why I love it and how it can work for everyone.
The Jacket:
One way I’ve been keeping warm during the start of spring, a time when the weather is constantly changing and deciding what to wear may become extra difficult, is by sticking to my trusty pea coats. I own at least three in various colours because they are so timeless, and provide instant sophistication. I love opting for a camel or tan coat because it works well with my olive complexion, however, this is a colour that will be universally flattering across all skin tones.
Monochromatic:
Monochromatic simply means pairing different hues of a single colour together. I love wearing monochromatic outfits because you always look put-together and effortless. For this outfit, everything I’m wearing is relatively inexpensive but the way I’ve structured the look allows it to feel more fancy.
Hope you learned a new styling trick to those who are in need of a wardrobe shakeup. This is something you can easily do without having to purchase a whole new set of clothes.
XOXOXO
