Fall Beauty Look Book

Fall is in full swing, and I’ve partnered with local Toronto beauty company LIPS BY DANILEA to showcase some #unapologeticallybold fall beauty looks. (Major +,  all of BY DANILEA’s products are cruelty free, paraben free & hypoallergenic!!) Check out their full range of products here.

This season, I collaborated with Isabella and Emma on four beauty looks that would work well on all skin tones and age demographics.  These looks range from subtle glam, to full on “look at me now I’m wearing black lipstick.”- something I never thought I’d do but TRUST ME when I say its something worth trying! Emma, my talented makeup artist, gave me a fun warm smokey eye and a winged liner as a base to accompany each of the lipstick looks. Keep reading for a full product breakdown.

The Everyday Mauve

I can’t tell you how many mauve/ purple tone lipsticks I’ve accumulated over the past year.I love a good mauve lip, it’s such a subtle way of giving some glam during the day, and looks amazing on every skin tone. This shade is perfect and works for any look you’re trying to achieve.

The Perfect Berry

You can’t go wrong with a creamy berry tone lip. An extremely versatile shade for the season that can easily take you from day to night! This one is super hydrating – a nice change from all the matte lipsticks I own that dry me out.√

The Edgy Brown

This shade is perfect for moments when you’re feeling a little  edgy & a little 90’s nostalgia. What is great about this shade is that it warms up your face and brings out your eyes!  I hear so many people say “I can’t do a brown lip” but I know from experience that its all about finding the right shade, and this one is perfect as it is universally flattering.√

The New Classic

Our boldest fall beauty look. A year ago if you asked me to wear black lipstick I probably would have shied away. Black lipstick in my mind use to be reserved for Halloween and ‘goth’ looks, but over the past few years it has made its way into the mainstream and so I thought why not give it a go! Black lipstick is definitely all about how you style it, you have to not over do it on the makeup and wardrobe because this lip look gains enough attention as is. If you’re skeptical about trying this lip look out, my best advice is to just try it – definitely worth stepping out of your comfort zone.
